I gave it a shot
From the fine private pool to the attentive service, every moment seemed like pure bliss. Breakfast was a good mix of flavors, and evening events were enjoyable. The resort, surrounded by palm trees and the sound of waves, is a slice of paradise. Can't wait to return for another nice experience!

delicious slices of fresh bread, cereal and pastries for breakfast. reasonably spacious, luxurious units provided with the bedroom, huge walls in the front, for example.

We loved rooms with balcony. Location: the hotel was just next door to the most beautiful beach, Choeng Mon which is much quieter than Chaweng and more suitable for families, and a peaceful bay.

Quiet setting, exquisite private pool, direct beach access
The hotel layout is so sprawling that getting from the villas to central areas can take ages!!! Adding a golf cart service would make a world of difference!!! The restaurant lacks adequate ventilation!!!

We enjoyed the privacy and the smiles of the staff, the pool villa was very nice and everything was kept clean and tidy. We enjoyed the calmness of this place, exactly what we were looking for. The 300 bath transfer to Chaweng Beach is worth that we were able to stay in a secluded place.
We would like to see a little more of health food on the menu (there are 2 plates considered health food). If you want a fresh fruit juice without sugar at breakfast you will be extra charged.

Good sized room with open bathroom and a work desk, tea/coffee making equipment and television. Hypoallergenic pillows and down pillows, nice bed. Location not far from the most beautiful beaches on the island, and Samui island. Early check-in, late check-out. Well experienced and highly courteous staff in the whole hotel.

The sandy beach offered exclusive access. Fresh tropical fruits greeted us daily. Despite the gorgeous setting and really good service, the spa experience fell short. The massage was underwhelming compared to what the resort promises. While the room was spacious and well-kept, some amenities felt outdated. Lastly, the gym hours were a bit restrictive, not updating to accommodate early risers. Nonetheless, the vibrant activities and attentive staff were nice.

The staff were fantastic. The location is great - we didn't want to be in the hustle of Chaweng Beach, and Cheong Mon Beach is still close enough and beautiful. The rooms were amazing, we have a 1 bedroom pool villa and it was great. We used the main resort pools a lot also and swam in the beach a few times. We also used the free Booked.net to go out and do something different. We paid for a half day tour which was money well spent as we got air condition luxury and we could tailor the tour to suit us and spend as little or as much time at each place. The food in the restaurant was just delicious and so varied that we could have something different each night (we stayed 7 nights). Poolside cocktails are also recommended!!!
There wasn't anything we didn't like about it. Obviously you pay more for meals and drinks at the hotel than if you ate locally, but we were more than happy to pay a bit extra for the service and quality of the food. We tried one day out at Chaweng Beach and after that experience (we didn't enjoy it - very tacky and pushy sales people) we stayed in the hotel to eat and drink and it was worth it.

Recommend it for couples looking to relax
You know what impressed me most? The attentive staff who anticipated every need, it was a level of service that felt almost supernatural. Plus, we had this amazing private pool villa, the outdoor rain shower was an experience like no other, felt luxurious yet tranquil, just perfect for unwinding after exploring.
It wasn't inexpensive, but considering the experience, I'd say it was fair.

Had a fantastic group trip with friends! We enjoyed morning yoga classes and kayaking at the beautiful beach. The variety of food at breakfast was great, and the adult pool was perfect. Just a heads up , while the service was excellent, the room dimensions felt a bit cramped compared to the balconies.
The massive swivel door leading to the bathroom was really annoying, especially when trying to be quiet at night. It would get caught on the curtains. Definitely not a dealbreaker, but something to consider!

Good location, many good restaurants nearby, fisherman village and chauweng is not so far. close to airport but no noise from the planes.
The beach was very dirty during whole stay, the weather was rainy, absolutely no veiw from the villa. Poor value for money!

We had a great stay at the Sala Samui Resort & Spa mainly due to the quality of the rooms. We had taken a Sala Pool Villa and the room although not very big was very comfortable and cosy. The Villa had an outdoor bathroom - innovatively hidden from the surroundings and surprisingly no insects/moths. Both the restaurants were good and the Resort also has a very good Spa as well although a bit expensive.
The only thing lacking at the Sala Samui is personal attention. Maybe due to high occupancy due the team was not able to manage all the guests. Still we had a great time as the Resort and the Villas are excellent.

Room was great, staff very friendly, beach is amazing
food not so good, Beach beds are not enough, its like high school where you run to catch beds and people reserving and not sitting. You would think that if you pay for the highest room you get priority for a beach bed but your the same as anybody paying half of what you pay.

Private pool bliss!
The little pool was perfect for family fun, and the staff were super friendly and always quick to help. Breakfast was amazing-really enjoyed the fresh juices and fruit. The beach was beautiful, but it could get crowded during the day. Would def go back!
